A Freeze Watch is in effect in the San Joaquin Valley this week, from February 22 - 25, low temperatures are forecast between 25º - 32ºF. The extremely dry conditions, since January, worsen the risk of freeze damage to this year’s crop. Due to the timing of their bloom stages, Almonds, Stone Fruit and Cherries are at risk for freeze damage. This is not the time to take chances or unnecessary risks!
